Dr. Christian Walker

Dr. Christian Walker was born in Indiana but grew up just north of Atlanta in Cumming, Georgia. His passion for dentistry began in the third grade after shadowing his dentist on career day—and the rest is history.

Dr. Walker attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate degree, where he spent time on the water with the rowing team, between the hedges cheering on the Dawgs, and engaging in student organizations. After graduating in 2016, he continued his education at Mercer University’s School of Medicine, earning a master’s degree in Preclinical Sciences. He then pursued his DMD at the Dental College of Georgia (DCG), where he graduated with a Distinction in Leadership and Service. Dr. Walker continued his training at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, serving our nation’s veterans and completing an AEGD residency. During residency, he received advanced training in prosthodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery within the VA Dental Clinic, along with rotations at Augusta State Medical Prison, the Tingay Dental Clinic at Fort Eisenhower, and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at DCG. He focused his training on implant dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, soft and hard tissue augmentation, and IV conscious sedation.

While attending the DCG, Dr. Walker met the love of his life, Dr. Ashton Young Walker, who sat just a few seats down. They’re excited to begin this next chapter of life and career near Savannah, surrounded by family and friends. When not at Sanford Stadium, you can find Dr. Walker at a local car show, enjoying an Icee at the movies, or playing pickleball and golf with Ashton.

Dr. Walker’s true passion is connecting with others and building meaningful relationships through dentistry. He believes a confident smile can lead to a healthier life, and he’s honored to help patients work toward that every day.
