Dr. Jennifer Christy

Dr. Jennifer Christy, DDS, is a dedicated dentist with more than 14 years of clinical experience and a passion for providing exceptional, personalized dental care. She has proudly served patients in Claxton since 2021.

Dr. Christy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from West Virginia University before receiving her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Her interest in dentistry began at a young age while spending time at her grandfather’s animal hospital, where she developed a fascination with dental procedures and the important role oral health plays in overall well-being.

With extensive experience in restorative dentistry, Dr. Christy is also trained in Invisalign®, Botox®, and dental implants. She is committed to providing thoughtful, comprehensive treatment while striving for excellence in every aspect of her work. Dr. Christy believes every patient is unique and takes pride in creating healthy, beautiful smiles that reflect each individual’s personality and confidence. She also places a strong emphasis on patient education, empowering those she cares for with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their oral health.

Dr. Christy’s passion for dental education extends beyond the dental office. She is the author of Willow By Your Pillow: The True Story of the Tooth Fairy and Her Fairy Messengers. Originally created as a story for her own children, the project evolved over five years into a beloved children’s book and the foundation for a new Tooth Fairy tradition designed to help parents make dental education fun, engaging, and meaningful for their children.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Christy enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Dr. Jonathan Christy, MD, and their two children, Jessica Elizabeth and James Michael. She enjoys writing, cooking, boating, shark-tooth hunting, and caring for the many animals that are part of their family.
